Puncturing the fog

We are finally experiencing a typical San Franciscan summer weather pattern:  Fog.  It will usually ‘burn-off’ in the late morning hours, only to return sometime in the evening.   I live close to the bay so I can hear the soothing baritone foghorns, warning boats and ships of hazards on the bay.   Here’s a photo of the Transamerica Pyramid, with its peak disappearing into the fog.
